Botox is So Last Week
Forget the search for the Higgs Boson, a new, very practical application has been discovered for the Large Hadron Collider now under construction at Cern in Switzerland. It can be used a fantastically effective anti-ageing device. Anatoli Bugorski was struck in the head by a proton beam generated by a particle accelerator in 1978 and, since then, the left side of his face has not aged.

A-ha, a sly jest. It's not that his face hasn't aged, it's just that it hasn't accumulated lines and wrinkles - since it's paralyzed.

When I hear the word Cern, my little heart speeds up a little bit. Last year, watching, the tour crossed over the thing any number of times.
They, at Cern, are doing things that lift, the human. And make much of science now known, so much shadows on a wall lit by moving torches.
But an odd nasty little thought thinks, BOOOOOM.

I knew a guy who was struck in the head by a 1978 volkswagen...his headstone is testament to the fact that he has not aged.
