A Warning To Us All
Somehow I missed the recent passing of this man, whose bizarre life should stand as a warning to all diarists - and, more especially, bloggers. Just imagine if he'd gone online...
I note that he was a Swedenborgian.
I note that he was a Swedenborgian.

Nice detail about his 1200 poems of which, on his own admission, maybe 5 or 6 were good.

Being surrounded by Swedenborgia does notmake you a Swedenborgian!

Good point David - that was a low blow on my part. Nothing wrong with Swedenborg (apart from prolixity).

Reminds me of an episode of the TV show, Monk. In the episode, Monk is staying at an old house formerly owned by a diarist from the 1800's who wrote books and books filled with the most inane topics. It's later revealed that the diarist had murdered his partner for gold and had hidden the gold by melting it, mixing it with black ink, and then using it to write the diaries.
