Very Clean
My apologies, commenters, I had urgent business in the French Alps. Very clean. Now in Geneva Airport, also clean. Normal service will resume when I am back in dirty Blighty.

Britain appeared to be remarkably clean when I was there. Paris, OTOH, was just as remarkably filthy.

That's odd - I was in the French Alps at the back end of last week too. Annecy.
Lac d'Annecy is very clean, but the inhabitants of the area are, of course, not.
