Brown-Nixon

I've had a vague sense that the outrageous plundering of Damian Green's office reminded me of something. This story made me realise what it was - the Watergate break-in. Have we at last found, in Brown, our own Nixon?

I was astonished to see Brown's retort to Cameron at PMQs when quizzed over Damien Green 'I see he doesn't want to talk about the economy'. The inference being our current economic woes are an ace for the Govt. Blair (or was it Campbell's?) comment about him being psychologically flawed is becoming increasingly prescient.

The problem then becomes, whence our Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein?
Nick Robinson, leave off, Polly, don't think so.
    So who?

Nick Cohen is my man for the job malty. Maybe even Andrew Gilligan.
