Never have I been so grateful for the good old Beeb; those ads made my ears bleed and my soul shrink.
Well done, Bryan, you sounded like a proper Englishman. An alien, in other words. You were up against it trying to convey the majesty of Jeff and Gwyneth in a few sentences, but it was a good effort.
