Galloway and Murder

I see the murder in the streets of Tehran has not inspired George Galloway to withdraw from his post at Press TV, which is funded by the Iranian government. Hmm, now let me see, what do I have to say about that? Nothing I leave it to you.

I should imagine their 'angle' is his. Which will have been confirmed in his mind by Ken's mate, Hugo Chavez, coming out in support of Ahmedinijad and against the vicious Western imperialists and their Zionist masters. Gorgeous George sees things differently from those of us who live in a slightly less Manichean universe than his.

who is he any way? I can't play any of the clips. weatherman? that's not a difficult job in Iran. well, easier than being a lipstick salesman.

So, you expect someone to give up their job on moral grounds.

Fair enough, but I trust you'll be demanding all Met police officers resign after the Tomkinson killing at the recent protests?

Or is it just governments that you disagree with which deserve your hypocritical outrage?

Yes indeed Faceless- English coppers & a murderous theocracy are exactly the same! It was definitely government policy to kill that protestor! I'm sure the people of Iran feel exactly the same way! In fact, they're probably glad they don't live in repressive Britain!
Enlightenment, that's what I get from the net!

    Awesome.

Actually Anonymous I think you're understating matters- the English government is more evil than Genghis Khan + the Nazis + Stalin combined, not to mention Oderus Urungus from GWAR, the heavy metal band from outer space. It's just beyond anything Satan could ever conceive of. I think I'll flee to Iran or maybe Sudan for political asylum.

I wonder if Press TV is reporting that BBC journo Jon Leyne shot Neda Agha-Soltan on his way to catching his flight from Tehran. The Iranian government says he did, so it must be true.

Should everyone at the BBC have resigned after we visited a holocaust (with a little 'h') on Iraq in 2003? What about employees of papers that facilitated the war by the editorial lines they took?

    Tricky.
