In The Sunday Times I interview Michael Haneke. I also interview Francis Fukuyama twenty years after his End of History essay appeared - however, I can't, for the moment, find the link.
But it is in News Review of the dead tree version. I don't get Fukuyama anymore - the more he says, the less he appears to be saying. At least, he's not claiming anything more than any of the Burkian bloggers do daily in these parts.
A blog about, among other things, imaginary ideas - What ifs? and Imagine thats. What if photographs looked nothing like what we see with our eyes? Imagine that the Berlin Wall had never come down. What if we were the punchline of an interminable joke? All contributions welcome.
